The Receipt

FAQ

Who funds you?

Named grants and funders publish on the About page. No funder has input into scores. The methodology page is the only authority.

Are you working for a party?

No. The same standard applies whether the governor is APC, PDP, LP, or anything else.

How do I know the scores aren't bought?

Every status traces to a documented receipt on the Receipts page, and every score change is logged publicly in that promise’s changelog.

Can a governor sue me for my verdict?

Verdicts are your honest assessment, submitted anonymously through a handle that can't be traced back to you.

Why is my state's governor scored low when he's building something?

Announcements alone score zero. In-progress work only earns points with physical or budgetary evidence on file. See Methodology.

What stops fake verdicts?

Rate limits per handle, anomaly detection on verdict surges and fresh-handle clusters, and reduced weighting for new or low-reputation handles.

Why don't you cover LGA chairmen or the President?

On the roadmap. Governors first, because manifesto-to-office mapping is cleanest at that level.

Can I be traced?

No real names, phone numbers, or emails are ever collected. See Safety for exactly what we don’t store.

How do I challenge a score?

Anyone, including a governor's office, can submit evidence disputing a status. Upheld challenges change the score and are logged publicly.

Can I volunteer?

Contribution features launch in the next phase, evidence submission, verdicts, and reputation.
